Great Find!
Set in an amazing location with a view that was top notch. The bungalow was well laid out and met our needs and we were very comfortable there. The kitchen was well equipped and had more than we needed and all the appliances worked well. The resort had a nice bar but the restaurant gets booked up quickly, so if you want to dine there book up before your visit. The take-away facility was great and the fact they phoned when it was ready made it even easier. The only complaint was that we were charged electricity on top of the price paid and it was at a very expensive rate double what we pay at home. We were there 5 days in May and it cost £20.16, if you were there in the winter and needed the heating on more (the bungalow is not well insulated) it could add up..

Location
Drive east of Pennal and within 10 minutes you will arrive in the popular market town of Machynlleth. Here you'll find plenty of local arts and crafts, a centre for of renewable energy, mountain bike trails, wonderful scenery, plenty of Welsh history and more.
Drive West and discover the Dyfi Estuary, stunningly beautiful beaches at Aberdyfi and Tywyn - a mere 15 minutes from Plas Talgarth. The huge sand dunes offer shelter for picnics or the perfect location for hide and seek! Both beaches offer a range of water sports including paddle boarding and kite surfing.
