Golf Resort
We stayed at the MacDonald Spey Resort which was great but more geared to golfers.

Location
Located within the Cairngorms National Park this resort is close to the tourist centre of Aviemore, the UK‘s largest winter sports area, and only forty minutes from Inverness and Inverness Airport. Aviemore train station is also nearby with direct services to Inverness, Perth, Stirling, Glasgow and Edinburgh.

The Area
Nearby attractions include the Cairngorm Funicular Railway, one of Scotland‘s most popular visitor attractions offering magnificent mountain views. Other family attractions include Landmark Forest Adventure Park at Carrbridge, beautiful Loch Morlich with its famous sandy beaches and water sports, Strathspey Steam Railway, Rothiemurchus Estate, Highland Wildlife Park and the Highland Folk Museum.
